Custom Landers Tutorial
Welcome to RevenueDirect's Custom Lander service, which allows you to quickly and easily create a custom landing page for your domains parked with us! The following tutorial will walk you through the choices available to you on each step in the customization process. You can navigate through the choices using the links at the top of the optimization area or by using the Back and Next buttons at the bottom.

1. Basic Info
Category
Choose the category you would like you would like your domain to be categorized as. The category name will only affect your landing page if you choose to display the category as your Header on the Custom Content step.
Keyword
Keywords determine what the advertisements displayed on your page are concerning. You can enter up to 3 keyword phrases, separated by commas. For example:
"Auto Loans, Home Refinance, Debt Consolidation Loans"
The keywords will be displayed in the phrase under your header text in the following format:
"Your destination for Auto Loans, Home Refinance, Debt Consolidation Loans and more"
Lander Type
1 click landers displays ads directly on the landing page and are best for most domains,
when you have a clear idea what you want the keywords and therefore advertisements to be about.
A 2 click lander will only display category selections and will allow the user to refine what their interest is, then display ads once that category has been clicked on. A 2 click lander may perform better for domains with multiple possible uses.

This option allows you to choose which side of the advertisements the Related Links will be displayed on.

2. Image
Image Library
The image library is sorted by our top level categories. Choose any image from any category for your lander.
Images
Once a library has been selected, you can click on specific images here and get a preview in the 'Your Image' area
3. Colors
Color Presets The color presets are pre-defined color schemes that you can use or use as a starting point in selecting the colors of your site
Header, Header Text, etc Each area of the lander and text can be customized to your own color. Simply click on the color squares for each element of the page and select the color you wish to use from the color picker displayed
4. Custom Content
Header
The header is the large font text at the top of the page. By default, it will be set to your display your domain name, but you can also choose the Category name you chose in step 1 or create your own custom text. If using custom text, the text should be a very concise title for the page
Date Display
Enabled by default, this displays the current date in the upper right hand corner of the landing page
Meta Keywords and Description These fields allow you to set up Meta information for your landing page. This information is stored in the HTML code for your site and is used by search engines to determine how relevant a page is to given search terms. These fields are not displayed on the lander itself, nor do they impact the advertising displayed.
Header Text
Allows you to add custom content on your landing page between the header and the main body of advertisements, including the ability to add text, links, or email links.
Footer Text
Allows you to add custom content to the bottom of your landing page, including the ability to add text, links, or email links.
5. Popular Search Terms
Auto-Optimize
Enabled by default, this will automatically populate the Related Searches area on the landing page if no terms are added to the text boxes

These text boxes allow you to customize the Related Search terms on your landing page to specific terms you wish displayed.
When you have completed the changes you wish to make, press Save and you changes will be applied. You can have a customized landing page on the net within minutes!
